As the title implies, seniors are not smarter than a fourth grader in the tech world, so I was hoping for a basic roadmap for the basic functions on an iPhone. Too much minutia! Maybe there is no simple method to use these devices, but this book is no 1,2,3, go on things like pictures, texting, etc. If you think this book will clear things up and make you a master by looking up what you want to do in the index - forget it - save your money and find a fourth grader!June M.

I've bought three different manuals to answer questions about my new IPhone7Plus and none of them do.The writers do try, and maybe I'm being unrealistic in expecting questions to be answered, but....a simple questionlike "How do I block a caller" really should be covered. I had to Google the question and found an answer right away.

I'm sure the book will be fine and useful, but just wanted to note that a 700-page book needs more than a padded envelope for shipping. This thing is Heavy, and while being tossed around with other packages is bound come down hard more than once, resulting in a binding that is a bit smashed like mine.

I already have a camera. To select this book, browsing Amazon, I mistakenly thought the AARP trademark on the book's cover indicated that this book was appropriate for first-time users. The book's title could just as well been "iPhone for Foodies" or "iPhone for Ninja Warriors". More truthfully, the book should be titled "iPhone for those of you who already know how to use an iPhone."
